Aaron Koblin is an artist specializing in data visualization. His work has been recognized by the National Science Foundation, and is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. Aaron is Technology Lead of Google’s Creative Lab in San Francisco, and continues to show work at international exhibitions and galleries.

Nik is a designer, artist, and educator at Art Center College of Design, one of the world’s leading design schools. His L.A.-based company UeBERSEE designs and produces art and design exhibits and exhibitions. As former principal and chief creative officer of Triad Berlin, he and his two partners formed one of Germany’s leading design firms. His team created pavilions for the World Expo2000 and for the Swiss Expo02.
 
Dan

During the day, Dan is the Visual Strategist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory where he has drilled a hole into a grain of sand, created installations out of aerogel, and is currently trying to put an object on a spacecraft going to Jupiter. In the evening he works on commissions such as this. Dan lives in South Pasadena with his wife and 3 children.

This project could have never been pulled off without someone to facilitate the marriage of sculpture, hardware and software. That person was Jamie. As an experience designer and producer, Jamie is a key member of the UeBERSEE team and creates experiences for retail and trade show environments, Museums, events, and even Airports. Jamie studied Art and technology before earning a degree in Environmental Design from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. jamiebarlow.com


Simon Franklyn and Jim Hetherington lead this skilled team of craftsmen and riggers that blend a sensibility towards aesthetics with extensive experience in all thing suspended in air. With diverse projects from tensile architectural structures to hollywood sets, International brought a multi-talented team together to fabricate and install the piece. internationalrigging.com



As our resident electrical engineer David planned out how our computer would talk to the LCD glass, which was anything but trivial. His system gets power and data to 100 custom designed circuit boards, each of which controll around 30 pixel each. During the day, David designs electrical systems and instruments for space missions at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California. david.p.randall@jpl.nasa.gov



This project needed a lot of custom designed software and Daniel was an integral part of getting it all coded. As an artist, designer, and programmer, his projects take on varied forms, from immersive installations and web-based work, to live visuals and music. Daniel earned his MFA in Digital Arts & New media from the University of California. He is based out of San Francisco, and his work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally. oddsympathy.com
